Nest, Rafting the Clarence

The time of year (December) when we raft the Clarence coincides with the nesting of many birds, in particular, sea birds which have flown over the Seaward Kaikoura Range. Paradise ducks are also seen. However, Canadian geese are the most common. They are an introduced pest which are culled in their thousands - a bit controversial but conservation in New Zealand often is. (Day 2)
