| Running down the East Edwards, late afternoon in Summer! Many great day trips in Summer are possible in the Edwards/Sudden Valley/Hawdon catchments. Most are off-track and involve 2000m+ of uphill. It's a great sense of freedom to have an ice axe & crampons, a light day-pack and you don't mind getting your feet wet. Otherwise difficult multi-day trips can be covered in a day. |
