| Near the East Horn of Mt Arrowsmith, Spring. The ridge leading up to Jaggered peak lies behind. The South Cameron glacier cascades down through the intervening valley and merges with the North Cameron Glacier somewhere far below. The Arrowsmiths are dramatic in their unexpected steepness which contrasts with the scree and rounded hills of the approach up the Cameron river (Wild Man's Brother range). Alas, the glaciers are all in retreat and the peaks slowly(?!) crumbling into the valley below. |
