Mt McCullough

Gale force Southerlies, while traversing beneath Mt McCullough. This was on day 3 when we were crossing over into the Clarke valley. Although there are some steep bits (!), it is probably possible to climb Mt Hooker from the Paringa Bivy via Mt McCullough. Its a fair way though and the ridge up McCullough doesn't look easy from here - lots of steep slab rock on either side of the ridge. The other side of Mt McCullough involves a gently sloping glacier which connects with the Hooker Glacier and the Jack's Creek route up from the Otoko.
